An iconic feast dedicated to the “Barolo of the South”: Taurasi’s Aglianico grape variety.
PROGRAM
At 1 pm the participants will be taken by private transfer (duration of the transfer 1 hour and 20 minutes) to Taurasi. On the way to the medieval town, a professional sommelier from NWT will be telling about the history of the wine varieties of the area, anecdotes, and curiosities of the most productive area for the Aglianico grape variety.
When in Taurasi, guests will go through an explanatory Irpinia and Taurasi wine-tasting crash master class course, followed by a guided tour of the medieval town conducted by a professional guide, before starting to enjoy the festival autonomously, wandering around the town and enjoying the wines from more than 40 producers, and the foods from local craftsmen, at incredibly low costs.
