PROGRAM

The program includes visits to two companies in two different and emblematic areas of Campania, with a visit to the vineyards and tasting of their best vintages. After being picked up by private transfer, guided tours of the vineyard and cellar will be carried out with a professional sommelier from NWT and with a member of the producing family, during which ancient wine-growing systems will be illustrated: tree-lined Aversana with married vine, and ancient volcanic vine cultivation systems.  Afterwards, there will be a tasting of lunch and appetizers typical of the Campania tradition, combined with the various wines of the companies.  The sommelier will give a historical introduction to the wine and typical food of the period and, after having tuned in to the level of the diners, will teach wine inspection techniques, food-wine pairing techniques, and, where required, more advanced topics will be explored in depth.
