After reaching Benevento at approximately 70min drive from Naples, a private guide will take you into the mysterious heart of Benevento, a land where folklore and shadows intertwine. Follow the traces of the Janare, the legendary witches said to roam the Sannio’s forests and riverbanks, leaving behind stories of moonlit rituals and ancient powers. As you explore the city’s hidden corners and historic sites, the myths come alive—revealing a Benevento that is both enchanting and unsettling. The tour will finish with the visit of the  legendary home of Liquore Strega, where herbs, copper stills, and centuries of secrets blend into Benevento’s most magical creation. Among golden aromas and whispered traditions, you’ll witness the craft behind Italy’s iconic enchanted liqueur.  A brief but powerful dive into the heart of Strega’s spell.

After the Janarè witches experience, our guests will join a private wine-tasting lunch at the Ocone Winery, will be led by a dedicated sommelier who will start the experience with an anthropological introduction to the history of wine in the world, Italy, Campania, and around the Sannio subregion area with the support of a PowerPoint presentation of 20 minutes approx.  The experience will continue with an introduction to the indigenous wines, seasonally and carefully chosen to pair with the seasonal sed dishes proposed for the event.  The sommelier will tune in on the guest’s level, and teach basic wine inspection techniques, and food-wine pairing strategies, and where requested and needed, further examine in depth any topic demanded
